Friday, February 26th, 2010Via the Roanoke Times, Delegate Morgan Griffith of Salem has officially filed his nomination papers and paid the fee to seek the Republican nomination for the 9th Congressional District at the May 22 convention. March 1 is the filing deadline for candidates for the Republican nomination.
The convention will be held on May 22 at Ft. Chiswell High School in Wythe County beginning at 10:00am, with delegate registration starting at 8:00am. Individual county/city GOP committees are already establishing procedures for election of delegates to the Convention.
