This is hilarious. Democrat Phil Kellam, the challenger in the 2nd Congressional district, recorded a message and sent it out in the form of robo-calls all day Monday. One problem:
Phil Kellam is calling voters in the second district telling them that today is election day and to get out and vote today!

Evidently, Mark Warner appeared at a fundraiser for the Dem candidate, Phil Kellam, in the 2nd Congressional district…and basically ignored Kellam all evening. Some other folks put in a questionable appearance, though.

I see that the Pilot has endorsed GOP incumbent Thelma Drake in the 2nd Congressional district:

Via Bearing Drift, I see that National Review Online has taken a rather in-depth look (at least, for a national publication) of the 2nd Congressional District race here in Virginia. The article calls the race between Republican incumbent Thelma Drake and Dem challenger Phil “Silence of the” Kellams “the other hot Virginia race.” [...]

It appears that Bearing Drift will not be allowed to podcast the next debate in the 2nd Congressional district, after being the “only Hampton Roads media outlet to fully record and provide the two previous congressional debates” between Republican Thelma Drake and Dem challenger Phil Kellam.
Disappointing.

I don’t know what to make of this poll, but Republican 2nd Congressional district incumbent Thelma Drake has made some huge gains here.
This race is going to be a fun one to watch on election night; I expect Drake to pull it out, but it’s going to be tight.
