Meet Flick
Monday, August 7th, 2006- Use what talents you possess: the woods would be very silent if no birds sang there except those that sang best.
Finally....I was becoming obsessed. Really. If we were on the phone and Flick showed I'd have to hang up. I'd spasm mid stride walking through the kitchen when a shadow flashed by the window.
I love him.
These lovely ladies are the "Liberace" sisters. Purchased for our lonely boy Larry at the Mount Airy flea market. Sharon had the honor of meeting the "chicken man" this weekend. He is a treat indeed. They did not have any hens resembling Larry so I picked out this foo-foo pair.
They appear to be a bit much for ol' Larry. He has none of his father's charisma nor charm with the ladies. Whether he is afraid, disinterested, or simply waiting for them to take off their hats I'm not sure. But it appears that after 2 days he is going to be severely hen pecked. Literally.
I have a ton of housework to do today...and workout...and continue getting clothes ready for our trip to Niagara Falls later in the week. So I must finish up. Tomorrow I will have to tell you why I am afraid to walk barefooted around my patio now....my run in with a "cow killer"!
