New Cribs for the Clark Pets
Friday, November 3rd, 2006It can't be done.
It probably can be done, but it's not worth doing.
I knew it was a good idea all along !
I know I have said it fifty times already but truly the leaves were as spectacular this season as I ever remember them. What an awesome autumn it has been.
Cold weather moving in meant making a decision on Earl and Eudora's dog houses...quickly. After arguing and being "zipped" by Toonces over a $600 white cedar shake home they both would share. "Call Wilma Dale and Gary [my parents] and see if they think it is reasonable to pay $600 for a dog house," he'd say. It matched the house. Nonetheless we sat down, put our heads together and yesterday we finished assembling the Thugs new cribs, or cabins I should say!
Calista busted.
Toonces can be so sweet. Dale is a bit lost without Lilly and she is too old to climb into the barn haylofts so she started sleeping with Eudora. Toonces, worried Eudora would get up during the night and leave Dale cold, bought her that little tiny yellow home. She loves it. She spent 15 minutes the first day picking the cotton bottom to get it just right. Luckily everyone seems to know it belongs to Dale and so it hasn't been dragged out and shredded in the yard. (knock on wood).
The best thing about the cold weather starting in is that my Thugs want to come in and visit with me in the evenings instead of traipsing all over the place exploring. Summer nights they were wild!!!
Now they want to snuggle, sleep in here, or lie in the floor and watch what we are doing and that makes me happy......
Who could refuse this face?
The banner for late autumn was Toonces's choice. Miss Ruby is the star pet this go around!

2 Sore and 2 tired 2 post. (high school annual flashbacks)
If I hurt this badly tonight what in the world is the morning going to be like?
Anniversary is near....my one year blogging anniversary is Monday and I want it to be special. Any ideas?
Anything you'd like to ask me maybe? This blog is pretty wholesome and somewhat guarded so anything you wondered about me? Ask away...if you don't want to comment just send me an email. Hey I will answer anything....it is Toonces that vetoes all the juicy stuff. (Within reason Joe within reason.)
