Private college week in Virginia
Tuesday, August 1st, 2006Virginia's private colleges are hosting open house events for prospective college students and their parents this week: July 31 to Aug. 5. The programs will include campus tours, financial aid and admissions workshops and program overviews.
The colleges are providing an incentive for families looking for a deal. If you visit at least three of the participating colleges, the application fees for your choice of three private Virginia colleges will be waived. (That amounts to about $100 of savings.)
